after reading this, i set a goal to run every day from thanksgiving to new years. i started the saturday after thanksgiving (friday would have been ideal but shopping and painting took over). so yesterday was day three…and so far, i’m three for three. the real challenge starts toward the end of the week though. i typically get so excited about challenges and starting them in the beginning but by the middle i’m over it and usually never finish something i start. this is something i’ll definitely be working on come 2015.

so instead of dwelling on it, i’m just going to do it. i am celebrating the fresh air in my lungs, the beautiful weather that alabama brings that i’m not used to in december, and the high i feel right after a run. and i am taking all the patience and practice i have to not get frustrated or bored or “over it” as the month flies by.

    I really want to get in to running. I have always hated it but I think if I can get past the hate part of it…it could be something that I could eventually get addicted to. Good luck with the challenge! You got this!
