thinking about how much more i wish i could sit down and blog.

enjoying the newborn phase so very much for so many reasons.

fully feeling like I have won the lottery with how well these two girls do together.

glowing with pride when i see my girls snuggle up. it’s a pretty one-sided love right now, but the future holds so much promise.

reading fifty shades of grey again because i never read books two and three so i might as well read the first one as a refresher before i dive in.

sticking to a minimilastic buying goal in january (and really for as long as i can make it last).

wearing the ssolly baby wrap

watching making a murderer with andrew and loving it so far. i wasn’t sure if i was going to jump on board or not but once i found out it was based on a case in wisconsin, that did me in.

needing to finish my december daily album.

packing up for our trip back to wisconsin in a few weeks. mostly just putting things into piles to pack though.

planning so much good stuff and making lists upon lists in my get to work book..

thinking about meal planning a lot since i’m in the midst of a two week clean eating group.

getting a lot of greens in with my morning smoothies.

eating so many vegetables.

starting to get excited for my dad to visit next week, but not excited that andrew is leaving for his first week long overnight trip since amelia was born.

introducing addison to MASH. she’s obsessed with the helicopter in the beginning and actually sits and watches the show. lord help me i have two MASH addicts on my hands.

hoping we can see a movie together when we are in milwaukee in a few weeks.

looking forward to addison’s second birthday party. the planning has already begun and it’s looking to be very colorful from where i stand.

knowing i am the happiest i have ever been. it’s almost overwhelming and i am so grateful to be present in this time.

wishing you all the best month of january and praying your new year is off to a shining start.

taking time in the morning to read God’s word.

feeling a little lonely these days. does anyone have suggestions on how to meet people in a new city/state? i need adult friends in my life!

loving this new knitting hobby i’ve got going on.  i finished my first scarf yesterday and am well on my way with my second one. get ready etsy…i’m gonna blow it up! ha…not.

reading unbroken. i know i’m a little behind since this book is now a movie but i’m definitely loving it and must finish it before i see the movie.

listening to so many podcasts. i flip through so many. it’s incredible how inspiring people can be. i’ll do a round up next week of some of my favorite podcasts in case you’re looking for a good one.

drinking a heck of a lot of wine after addison’s bedtime. i’m not having any trouble fulfilling this monthly goal.

excited to buy tickets to go back to wisconsin next month!

finding time to catch up on addison’s baby book. i simply cannot believe she is going to be a year old next month!

heading to bed tonight in the guest bedroom because a) i haven’t tried the new mattress in the guest bedroom and b) our bed is an air mattress and it’s getting a little old but not old enough for us to do something about it yet.

wanting to touch snow. that won’t be happening anytime soon though.

I've been spending more time with Christ intentionally lately too, so I feel you there. And girl–moving to a new state is seriously lonely–hoping you connect with some people soon. <3

It so is…I didn't realize how lonely it would be until it happened. Thanks so much for the sweet wishes, I hope I start connecting with people soon too 🙂
