I never have been one to go to a salon and get my nails done. Unless it’s a special occasion or a big holiday, I typically like to do them at home as a form of self-care. It’s therapeutic for me and saves money! With all the beautiful colors available these days, there’s really no reason to ever need to go to a salon!

Today I’m sharing five of my very favorite colors that I reach for time and time again. I was going to share my top five favorites for fall but then I realized these five colors are my top five pretty much year round. I always receive compliments on them and questions about where they’re from so I’m excited to share with you today about the nail polishes I love!

Sally Hansen Birthday Suit: I especially love this color when I just want my nails to look simple and clean cut. It’s more of a neutral that blends with your natural nail color but not a clear so it enhances your nail a little more. Such a pretty basic!

Essie Pre-Show Jitters: Sometimes white nails seem a little loud for me so this nail color is my all-time favorite because it’s white with a tint of pink in it. Definitely feminine and definitely can be worn in every season!

Revlon Fearless: This red color I tend to gravitate toward in the spring and summer months when I’m wearing a lot more color anyways. I love how it’s more of a coral red and not such a cherry red!

Revlon Raven Red: Every time I wear this maroon color, I receive so many compliments. It’s not a loud red at all but it’s not such a dark one that you can’t tell what the color is. It’s the perfect shade for fall and winter months!

Essie Model Clicks: This shade is newer to me and at first I wasn’t so sure about it but after I got a second coat on, I fell in love with it. Not black but dark enough that you really have to look. It’s for sure more of a sophisticated color and would look stunning at a cocktail party with your little back dress (I don’t go to those anymore so someone do that for me mmkay?)! This shade is going to be my new go to this fall!
