I used to despise getting ready for the day because I didn’t know anything about makeup and always just threw it on without much thought. In the last few years I have really focused on how to do my makeup properly and the best products that fit my quick beauty routine. All the makeup here I use on a daily basis and it takes me no longer than seven minutes to put on. If there’s enough interest in this, I’ll create a beauty routine video and share that but for now, here are the current products I use on a daily basis.
It Cosmetics CC Cream with SPF 50+ (I use Fair): I have tried so many foundations in my years and this is the most smooth one out there. It doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything on my face and I use the It Cosmetics foundation brush to blend it in to my skin.
It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara: I am always on the hunt for a good mascara to lengthen and make full but I want it to be lightweight too. This is the mascara that has fulfilled all those things and I love it!
Naked Basics Eyeshadow: The palette here has six different colors but I only use the Naked 2 color for my eyelids. It only gives a little color and just a little more life to my lids.
Anastasia Brow Powder Duo: In high school I over plucked my eyebrows so much so there’s always a little empty spots and things need a little more filling in. This helps to make my eyebrows a little more full. I’ve thought about microblading but this is much less permanent and a lot less painful. I use this brush to apply the powder.
Benefit Dandelion Box o’ Powder Blush (I use Soft Pink): By far my favorite blush that is the perfect color for giving my face a little something on my cheekbones.
Benefit Eye Cream: I use this mostly on days of rough nights of sleeping and it just helps hide the dark circles. Between this cream and two cups of coffee, I can usually hide that I’m only running on three or four hours of sleep.
Sephora Rouge Cream Lipstick (I use Cool Beigy Brown): The older I get the less color I lose from my lips and the more dead they look, for lack of a better term. I like to use this color because it’s just a little something to make me look like I have lips!
