BABY #3 UPDATE // 22 WEEKS

What I’m wearing: Wildflower Tee // Button-Up Midi Skirt

I got this tee in the spring before I was pregnant and I have a feeling I’ll be wearing it until the due date! It’s nice and long plus the fabric is so soft and the material isn’t see through. I love this entire Etsy shop that I bought it from and will definitely be ordering more tees from her!

I’m excited because if you follow me on Instagram (and if you don’t yet, my handle is @bakersfarmblog), you heard that I’m working on a fall capsule wardrobe with mostly non-maternity clothes. I’ll have some in there of course but I honestly don’t love maternity clothes anyway and would much rather go up a size in regular clothes. So it will definitely be suited for everyone and I can’t wait to share it with you! I started working on it this weekend and have some more tweaking but will be talking a little about it this week and probably sharing the entire thing the day after Labor Day if not by Friday! More to come on this later!

For all those who’ve been asking, we absolutely have zero name picked out for this baby. Lots of time left but it seems to be a frequently asked question later 😉 We had two girls names picked out in anticipation of it being a girl but I cannot decide on a boy name to save my life. I think we’ll know it when we hear it so for now we’re sitting in limbo with that.

Little man is CONSTANTLY moving too. At first I thought it was just in the evening hours but the more I’m focusing on it, he’s really just moving all day long. Dude doesn’t sleep (hopefully that’s not a sign of what’s to come when he gets here)! I’ve finally started to feel it on the outside and both Addison and Andrew were able to feel him this week but Amelia doesn’t have the patience to sit and wait for him to kick!

22 Week Bump Update

Size: Baby is the size of a papaya! At nearly 1 pound, baby is growing at a lightening speed!

Weight gained: Up 15.5 pounds. I don’t even know how that’s possible because last week I was only up 12 pounds but we did have a fun busy week last week so I guess? At this rate, baby should be coming out niiiiiice and chunky 😉

Symptoms: Nothing but these dang varicose veins. They’re making hot weather difficult since I want to hide them (they’re seriously hideous y’all) but also wanting to stay cool because 90 degree weather still.

Favorite wardrobe piece to wear right now: Dresses and skirts for sure! So much easier to throw on and go than finding a pair of short that still works with a rubber band and I really just dislike maternity shorts.

Boy or girl? It’s a little boy!!!!

Nursery update: This little nugget probably won’t have a dedicated nursery for a long time. I have a lot of cute ideas but things are pretty up in the air right now. We are turning the current guest bedroom into the nursery so once I start on that, our guests won’t have a place to stay so we’ll see how that all pans out. Really a baby doesn’t need a nursery anyway but gosh the decor inspiration that I have flowing in my head is pretty heavy already!

1 thing I am currently having trouble with: Keeping up with an appropriate amount of water intake! WHY is this so difficult?! I am always dehydrated!

1 moment I loved about this past week: Every night before Addison goes to bed at the end of our prayers she prays for the baby to come to us “gently and be healthy”. It makes me year up every time <3

1 thing I plan to do for myself this week: Make a massage appointment! I got a gift certificate for Mother’s Day and still haven’t used it so I think it’s finally time!

Food cravings: Cottage cheese and strawberry yogurt. They taste so good together!

Currently working on: Looking up certain methods (like the Bradley method) that will help stabilize my emotional self during the L&D of this third baby! 🙂
