A FEW BEACH READS FOR SUMMER

Warm weather is just about here and with it comes beach trips, vacations and being outside! Whether you’re laying out by the pool, kicking your feet up on the dash with the windows down or hanging out in the backyard while your kids play on their swing set, it’s always nice to squeeze in a few books to read while you’re relaxing. Here are a bunch of books that I have on my list to read this summer!

LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE by Celeste Ng
A  single mother and daughter shakes up a community when they move into the neighborhood with their secrets and hidden past they keep. One that is sure to be easy to fly through!

BACHELOR NATION by Amy Kaufman
I used to watch The Bachelor series all time and even though I don’t watch them anymore, I’m still completely intrigued all that goes on behind the scenes and what’s “real” and what’s more enhanced!

IN CONCLUSION, DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT by Lauren Graham
Between the Gilmore Girls episodes and the two other books she has written, she is constantly someone I will pick up to read time and time again. I can’t wait to hear what she has to say in this book!

A TRIBE CALLED BLISS by Lori Harder
Andrew saw Lori Harder speak at a conference a few months back and said her story was absolutely incredible. From what I can tell, this book is all about finding and being a part of a tribe your own. Coming from someone who is always looking for more people, I’m certain I will only benefit from reading this book!

OTHER PEOPLE’S HOUSES by Abi Waxman
“Four families, a neighborhood carpool and an affair that changes everything” according to Amazon and the reviews look like it’s such a juicy read, I’ll be swiping this one up for when I’m at the beach this summer!

RICH PEOPLE PROBLEMS by Kevin Kwan
The third book to a sequel I got hooked on instantly. Crazy Rich Asians was the first and now I’m more than halfway through China Rich Girlfriend. This book is the final to the three part book and the first book is being made into a movie! It’s a good easy read about poor rich people 😉

LABOR DAY by Joyce Maynard
I just finished this one yesterday and it was an absolutely incredible story and such a quick read! I could not put it down for the life of me and it would be such an easy one to get sucked into while laying on the beach!

THE RULES DO NOT APPLY by Ariel Levy
Honestly I don’t know a lot about this book but I’ve heard such great things about it from other people that I know I’ll end up picking it up at some point this summer!

THIS IS ME by Chrissy Metz
I absolutely loved her on This Is Us and there’s so much hype about her story. The reviews say it’s a book you can’t put down and I’m certain I’ll fly through it!

What’s on your reading list this summer or what have you read lately that you enjoyed?
