Yesterday I was decorating for Valentine’s Day, today I’m gathering up Easter goodies for the kids baskets. Am I right? I feel like the seasons are just flying by! But I’ve got to say, I do love me a good Easter holiday. All the pastel colors come out and all the fall colors go into hiding until another October rolls around and bare pasty legs are being flaunted by everyone because let’s face it, nobody was tanning this winter so we all have them!
I love tooling around looking for things to fill the girls baskets with. There’s always the usual Chapsticks and crayons that I throw in but I like to get creative with it and not have every Easter basket look like the same ole thing. An element of surprise is always nice! A lot of these ideas would work for boys too!
Rabbit Pajamas: Perfect for girls and boys and good for all of spring through the summer!
Be Kind: This is the sweetest story with the cutest illustrations and most importantly the message is on point.
Rainbow Streamer: Because every holiday deserves a good ole stream of rainbows.
Rainboots: Addi got rain boots for Christmas and now no puddle is left unjumped in. Thank goodness for rubber boots!
Dance Bunny Dance: Bunnies dancing? I mean, it’s so dang cute for little girls!
Bath Bomb: My kids love the good ole bath bomb in their tub on the very rare occasion (actually they’d probably love it all the time but then it wouldn’t be a treat) and this cake bomb takes the cake! (Sorry, I couldn’t help it.)
Easter Pez Dispenser: 2.5 seconds and the Pez is instantly gone with my two little ones but the dispensers are at least cute!
Eggstravaganza Mad Libs: This is probably a little mature for my kids but Mad Libs are always so fun to play with the words that are made up in the story!
Floral Umbrella: After Addison’s got turned inside out during a storm last month, we’ve been on the hunt for a new umbrella and this floral one has me swooning!
View Master Classic: It may be the 90’s in me talking but I loved this when I was a kiddo and I feel like anyone would think there is magic happening whenever they pull down that little lever.
11 Piece Easter Tic Tac Toe Game: Anyone else’s four year old obsessed with tic-tac-toe? My dad taught her in January and now it’s all she wants to play. This is such a cute way to play it!
Fingernail Stickers: Stickers are these kiddos jam and stickers MADE for their fingers would blow their minds.
Cubebot Wooden Robot Toy: Um hi. Such a cute robot toy. All the pieces come apart and can be put back together!
Catch and Count Fishing Game: Perfect for kids who are in the early stages of learning to count!
Egg Chalk: Chalk always but chalk in the shape of an egg is pretty fantastic.
