I have been on the hunt for some really great things I would love and would last me a while. It’s easy to fall into a rut of buying things because you like them right now because of trends or mood but what about pieces that will withstand time. The classics. Below are some of my very favorite pieces I have used for a while (except one but I already know I’m in love with this one) and absolutely love. A little style, a little makeup, a little happy ole me 🙂 Maybe you’ll find you love some of these pieces as well!
I don’t know why I never used a backpack for a purse before but I bought this cute one last year and it is the greatest thing I’ve ever done. It holds so much and it lets me go handsfree with two kids constantly running around, and usually away from me! There’s plenty of room for me to keep diapers and wipes, snacks, two drink cups for the kids, and my wallet and other personal things. If I have any suggestion for a mom, it’s to use a backpack!
These jeans are life. I’m not even kidding you. I watched for a good year everyone under the sun was getting them and I just kept thinking, they’re jeans how great can they be? When I finally bit the bullet and got them, I was kicking myself that I hadn’t before. They’re so comfortable and they’re high rise so they hold the mom pooch that I can’t seem to get rid of in. They’re just so so comfortable.
This may be a bold statement seeing as I just got this shirt yesterday but it is the most comfortable long sleeve shirt I own. It feels like a fleece without being a fleece and I already am thinking about buying a second white one when this one gets too ratty and old. I love the little knot detail on the bottom and I love even more that I didn’t pay more than $20 for it!
Not the first time I’ve mentioned this mascara here and likely not the last. A little higher on the price but worth it when your lashes look long for days and it doesn’t clump at all. This mascara has made me look so alive and my eyes look so bright! I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a different one!
I don’t spend much money on sunglasses because I usually lose them or my kids will stretch them out because they want to “be like mommy”. Amazingly enough I haven’t lost or damaged these ones and I hope I never do. I wear sunglasses all the time here and these are big enough to cover the sides of my eyes and dark enough to not show my eyes through. They’re 40% off right now too so you can’t really go wrong with that!
