we made it on our trip and back and our littlest didn’t come. praise the lord; i was so worried that, while traveling back to wisconsin for thanksgiving week, my water would break in indiana and i would be having a baby somewhere that i didn’t know. plus our car was packed to the max already so there was that. it was so fun seeing all our friends and family and i kept hearing from everybody how excited they were to meet baby number two. we are too! so so ready to have her join our little family.
while we were there, we had a few maternity/family pictures taken and i’m so thankful we did. looking back at how precious these turned out, i am definitely going to cherish them for many many years to come.
we took a tour of the hospital yesterday and it all seemed to really set in. i am one centimeter dilated and this little girl is ready to make her debut at any given moment so project get everything done in the next few days is well underway, starting with packing my hospital bag and addison’s overnight bag.
december is her due date month and we are officially ready for you sweet love, no matter how many more things i want to accomplish first. i can’t wait to see her sweet face and squish her in all the soft baby places and see her little sister give her a hundred smooshy kisses and have her here for the most magical season of all!
